I reckon that he gets far too much stick for just being a tough racing driver. People need to understand that being a racing driver is a very single-minded profession. You can't be a nice guy on the track and win and if sometimes you have to dance closely to the line then so be it!

People (and when I mean people I predominately mean the press) need to lay off him.

Schumacher wasn't like this straight away - Lewis has come straight in and really taken command.
